Teen Reels — Video Feature Terms of Use (Addendum)

1.1. TeenTap video features are for users ages 13–17 and, where permitted, older students and alumni of the schools and communities TeenTap serves. If you are under 13, you may not upload, post, or comment on videos.

1.2. By using video features, you confirm you meet the age requirement and that any content you upload features only you or people who have agreed to appear in it.

2.1. You keep ownership of every video you create. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your content to TeenTap.

2.2. You grant TeenTap a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and distribute your videos on the TeenTap service solely to operate the video features (for example, encoding your video, showing it in the feed, letting users like and comment).

2.3. This license ends when you delete your video, except for backup copies which are removed within 30 days, and except where the law requires longer retention.

2.4. You may delete your video at any time from your profile.

You may not upload, comment, or caption content that:

3.1. Contains nudity, sexually suggestive posing, or sexual content of any kind.

3.2. Shows or promotes violence, weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or vaping.

3.3. Contains hate speech, slurs, or attacks on any person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or appearance.

3.4. Bullying, harassment, mocking, or targeting of any identifiable person, including classmates.

3.5. Reveals personal contact information — phone numbers, home addresses, school names combined with locations, Snap/IG handles asking people to move off-platform — in the video or caption.

3.6. Is created to impersonate another person or falsely claim to be someone else.

3.7. You do not have the right to post, including other people's videos, copyrighted music beyond what the platform licenses, or content stolen from another creator.

3.8. Encourages dangerous challenges, stunts, or dares.

3.9. Contains spam, scams, giveaways requiring payment, or links to off-platform sales.

4.1. Every video is private when uploaded. Nothing you upload is visible to anyone but you until a TeenTap moderator approves it.

4.2. TeenTap reviews videos before they appear in any feed. Review includes automated screening for the prohibited content in Section 3.

4.3. Approval is not an endorsement. TeenTap may remove any video at any time, including after approval, if it violates these terms or if a report reveals a problem.

4.4. TeenTap does not offer live streaming. Any feature that broadcasts in real time is prohibited.

5.1. Watching videos in the feed is available to logged-in users; posting requires an active account and, for some features, a paid plan.

5.2. Comments are subject to the same rules as videos. TeenTap filters and reviews comments, and may remove comments without notice.

5.3. Sharing (QR code, copy link, or your device's share sheet) shares the link to a public, approved video. Private and unapproved videos cannot be shared.

5.4. Do not record, re-post, or re-share another user's video outside TeenTap without their permission.

6.1. Every video and comment has a Report button. Reports go directly to the TeenTap safety team and are confidential; the person reported never sees who reported them.

6.2. Reporting categories include Inappropriate content, Bullying/Harassment, Spam/Scam, Self-harm concern, and Other.

6.3. TeenTap may remove content, limit features, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations. Serious safety concerns may be reported to authorities where the law requires or permits.

6.4. Retaliation against a person who reports is itself a violation and results in immediate suspension.

7.1. Watching and basic interaction are free. No video feature may be advertised to teens in a way that pressures spending; paid upgrades exist but are optional and clearly labeled.

8.1. If this addendum changes, TeenTap will notify users in the app before the change takes effect.
